My FTDI USB does not work on my OnePlus 5. I enabled USB OTG and the phone does detect the USB and wants to open it using torque but I can’t connect to my vehicle.

Hi! This should definitely be working – To double check – you’re using the version 1.10.110 on the beta track, and not the currently released normal version on google play?

Hey!! Unfortunately the beta program is full and I cannot join. I have the normal version on Google Play version 1.10.107

piemmm, Your program in 1.10.110 began to work with the adapter on the chip PIC18F25K80 chip from FTDI RS232.
Great job Ian!
Thank you! :)

Once again:
1. Make memory function, to continue further data counting, after reconnecting Torque (for example, to count the hours of total engine operation, mileage per period, fuel consumption per period and much more)
This function can be used in many calculations used by users.
2. Make a text label. (ability to set a name for each screen)
3. Allow the user to change the color of the round and square indicator (separately the color of the indicator name, separately the color of the indicator value)
4. Add horizontal indicator and vertical indicator to display values.
Example:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=12UeTyPeJpy2jiGk1TlTi2dAYNg2Tw8Rj
5. A formula for solving user problems. (for example, the comparison formula: if; then)
6. Add a linear display of values, with the ability to resize.
Example:
Speed km / h……………………………………..86
Voltage, V……………………………………..13.89
Oil temperature, °C…………………………….98.5

Will you be able to implement them?

Joined in the beta program, updated Torque Pro 1.10.112 and still the FTDI USB cannot connect to my vehicles ECU. Constant No response from OBD adapter errors. Torque says it lost connection and retries in the realtime information at the top. Baud rate is set to automatic.

Hi!

crashmultiz: What type of OBD2 compliant adapter are you using? It must be an ELM327 compatible adapter – do you have a web link to it?

I’m using this one OHP K Line FTDI OBD2 USB Diagnostic Scan Tool, Compatible with INPA ISTA EDIABAS NCS Expert, Windows Only https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KK0M5CK/

I also downloaded another app called JDMscan and it works perfectly with my USB obd.

This is data from the FTDI USB on the app JDMscan.

Greetings Ian.
Faced with such a problem, when the program is running and already connected to Android, when you try to change the settings of the indicator on the desktop, the program crashes, the program loses contact with the ELM USB adapter.

Capp777: I like the way you think – that /should/ work, though it may need to change in the editor a bit (havent had time to test myself either) – I may add a function (that’s less of a hassle to tyoe) to do this after I’ve got .107 out of the way with

Greetings Ian Hawkins.
You promised to add a function to remember parameters.
When will it be possible to see it?
Now you have 114 version :)

I rummaged the entire Internet, all forums, but so and not found formula, which is used you Have in program Torque, for parameter:
Run time since ancient times = PID [1F]
I understand that You are busy, but could you tell me the formula for conversion of units of time to that mean?

Ian Hawkins, it’s been another 10 days. What about the memory feature you promised in version 107?
Already 114 version You have.

Hi!

Which setting are you changing (which part of the app) which is cause the app to close and I’ll try to reproduce here and fix it

(There are a couple of issues with the charts I’m also looking at – currently Android 4.0 won’t work with them but it should work from android 5+ properly, due to the chart vendor (annoyingly) not supporting android4.0 anymore (I *think* it might work in 4.1/4.2, but haven’t tested that yet)

piemmm, Double-checked today.
During the program, if you go to the profile and make changes in it with the preservation of the profile, my pid parameters, which are displayed on the ECAN, are detected, and the program loses communication with OBD USB and reconnects.
Sometimes the program can’t connect to OBD USB and I have to exit the program completely and then run it again for the program to reconnect to OBD USB.

You still haven’t answered my previous message, which I’m VERY interested in.

Greetings Ian Hawkins.
I have updated Android in the car, to Android 9 version.
Torque became by USB, connects to OBDII through times.
If you restart the radio, the Torque USB is not connected until you restart the Torque.
Please correct.

What about the save feature you promised?
