Post 0-30 and 0-60 are the same time
on: October 31, 2019 (GMT)

I just tried Torque Pro with the 0-30 mph timer & sometimes got results & sometimes just got the 1-3 square dots that appear on the digital gauge. I searched the forum & it said you might have to overshoot the 30 mph & go to 45 mph in order to get a reading. And for 0-60 might have to go to 75 mph. Seems like quite a bit of overshoot needed. is this correct?

Sometimes I went up to 50 mph & did not get a timer readout, but going to 40 mph did provide a time, however it seemed I had to do this under moderate acceleration in order for it work, not under wide open throttle.

I did a 0-60 run & went up to 75 mph. But here’s what is strange.

The 0-30 digital timer indicated 12.6 seconds and the 0-60 digital timer indicated 12.57 seconds with a best of 12.6 seconds. The car should do 0-60 in about 7 seconds according to everything I’ve read. Even if I wasn’t quite at WOT that would not explain the 0-30 and 0-60 being the same.

Any idea why I’m not always getting a 0-30 time or why 0-30 and 0-60 are the same?

Thanks
