I am using a “cheap” ELM327 adapter with my Samsung Tab 2 7″ (on Omni ROM 4.4.4) in my Renault Megane RS. In april I ordered an adapter on Ebay with on/off switch but it never came. So now I’m thinking of buying a OBD Link LX adapter. Auto power off, faster. Only drawback, it’s more expensive.

Yes, but not with Torque. Torque is Android.

I have a generic ELM327 mini BT adapter. I’m using it with my HD2 – Kitkat 4.4.4 (CM11).
My car is Corolla X (Japanese model) and works brilliantly!

Using my Samsung Tab3 7″ T110 and Samsung Galaxy Ace S7500 (both uses default updated android versions, no custom roms) with a clone/cheap Mini ELM327 adapter.

I’m using a 2006 Kia Cerato/Spectra 1.5 CRDi.

Both working fine.

USing OBD-II tool, SWamsung Note3, and Torque.

Many gauges available for the 7 screen set up. Now I just need to determine why some don’t seem to connect. Connect to me means a green incidator that flashes on some.

Also I need schooling on how to access codes.

Tks

HTC EVO 3d Android phone.

HH OBDII Bluetooth Adapter for .00 from ebay seller with 100% positive feedback ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/161045857934?item=161045857934&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OU:US:3160&vxp=mtr ). I’ve actually ordered another one for a friend.

I Have 15 dashboard screens, 5 Vehicle profiles, and over 280 PIDs (many custom ones found with Torque Scan) and several custom PIDs with “blank” PID# that are being used as memory variables for special calculations on other PIDS.

Everything works flawlessly.

I’m very new to this. Took the multiple recommendations about getting TorquePro to heart and wallet.
I’m using Kiwi 4 with a Nexus 6P.
I had some frustration in connecting app to BTmodule and then again finally to the ECU. It took a long time. A couple of frustrating hours. Even ended up trying to hookup to the Kiwi OBD to see if all the naysayers were right about TP.
It eventually hooked up to TP and is stable. However, once I close the app but leave the module plugged in I still need to pull the module out of the OBD port and reinsert it before it will re-establish a connection when I reopen the app. Once I do that it’s hooked back up in less than a minute. Otherwise it seems it will go on searching forever.

I’ve using this on a 2002 Camry. Next I’ll try it on my KIA Niro hybrid.

I’m using the vgate iCar Pro OBD2 scanner on my 2020 Niro PHEV in conjunction with Torque Pro. It’s working well. It’s available at Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XGB4873/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I stepped up to get one with autowake and autosleep functionality since I leave it plugged in all the time and didn’t want to add drain to my battery.

I am using: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QJRYMFC/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

… and it works very nicely on my 2006 Subaru, with a Moto X4 phone. However, it only provides new data about every 1.6-1.7 sec, regardless of what I set “File Logging Interval” (or if I check “Faster Communication”); eliminating the real-time displays on the main screen improved this to about one per second, but still way too slow.

I’m curious if anyone here has been able to find an adapter that can provide multiple samples per second. I know that the Subaru ECU is capable of this, as people in the Subaru forums are doing that with Rom Raider.
