Hi, literally just set mine up in the garage, so plenty of tinkering to do but seems to be working fine.

Either an HTC Desire S or a View Sonic 7 tablet

The tablets bigger screen allows for more dials and info and the phones Bluetooth talks to the car stereo for hands free.

I’m using a ScanTool OBDLink Bluetooth adapther which I purchased from eBay for 0. Torque Pro is installed on a dual-core Motorola Photon 4G running Android 2.3.4. Until recently, I’ve had no problems. It logs two dozen PIDs per second without skipping a beat. The problems to which I alluded are recent phenomena, so I haven’t had much time to diagnose them.

plx kiwi bt. works fine. the only issue with kiwi bt is no auto-off feature. however, plx has told me that the gray wire in the cable is pin 16, so you can inline a relay if you wish to leave the adapter connected all the time.

Just 2 problems: “faster communication” seems to work but I get the error message that suggests to disable this function; the ecu fault code reading give me always “no errors” but I’m sure some error is present (checked with vcds).

and it does work with no issues on all 4 cars with one ELM 327

connection ok but “ECU is not supported”?
