Soliport ELM 1.4 from Amazon

HTC Desire Z (Stock Vodafone Gingerbread 2.3.3 UK ROM, Unrooted)

2006 Seat Leon 2.0 TDI DSG.

Works well, just hoping the WIP implementation of proprietary VAG protocols opens things up a bit more!

I’m using an Ebay elm327 1.4 obdii Bluetooth on my HTC EVO 3D, works really good I can even use faster communication settings.

Used on 96 Mustang 3.8, 2010 Fusion sport, 99 Explorer, 2003 mustang v8 and a 2010 Nissan Titan

I don’t have any timeouts, and I’m really impressed with its speed/calculations.

If I could just get my friggin gas gauge to work on my 96 mustang.

I’m using a Bluetooth OBDII adapter that I’ve designed (similar to Scantool.net’s OBDLink), but much smaller. Adapter hardware is open-source and works very well w/ Torque (which, by the way, is the best OBD software for Android!)

I run Torque on my Xoom (gingerbread) and my Droid 1 (running android 2.3.7. Things can be a little pokey on the D1, but nice and quick on the Xoom. I’m used Torque with my adapter on tons of vehicles, but I can say for sure the combo works great w/ all non-commercial light or passenger duty vehicles from 1996ish-present that I’ve tried (your standard cars, pickups, SUVs..etc). I have not tested it w/ commercial vehicles that support J1939. I’ve tested it on CAN bus and non-CAN bus Fords, CAN bus and non-CAN bus Toyota, Honda, Saturn, Kia, Chrysler, Chevy, CAN bus Nissan, and others I can’t remember off the top of my head.

If anyone’s interested, the Bluetooth OBDII adapter I designed is here: http://batman.homelinux.com/blog/bluetooth-obdii-adapter/

2006 Nissan Titan. I’ve got the cheap Ebay clone adapter marked ELM 327. I’m running the Asus Transformer tablet with the latest Honeycomb version. Going to upgrade my adapter if I can get Transmission info.

Xrayron,

With your ELM do you get any Transmission info from your Titan? I have an 06 and see nothing about tranny temp and I cant get my gas gauge to show either.

ELM327(ebay) OBD2
Samsung Epic 4g Sprint firmwase 2.3.5
Andriod Ginderbread.EI22
2006 Mitisubishi Eclipse 3.8L
Torque Pro

Been using for several months. The last month or so the ELM327 is throwing errors and Torque drops out of high speed. Phone responce rate is great. Had Samsung epic prior and the slower phone was an issue.

BAFX ELM 327 Bluetooth from Amazon
Motorola Droid X (rooted, running MIUI ROM)
2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L

The BAFX came with workaround instructions for Droid users who experience trouble with the initial pairing, but mine paired perfectly out of the box.

Adapter – OBD-II kit using STN1110 chipset and RN42 bluetooth module. Previously I had mixed results with a Dealextreme blue generic dongle that ran ELM 1.2A software, it was really buggy. I recommend NOT using one of these and just spend the cash and get one that is known to work.

Android device – Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 and Samsung Infuse. The gauges look great on the Galaxy Player.

Car – 2007 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro
