Hi. I’m new to this app and Android in general. I’m switching over from DashCommand in hopes of getting more data on my Subaru, and trying to understand the integration between Torque and ActiveOBD.

I bought Torque Pro and I have the free ActiveOBD app. I have an OBDLink SX. ActiveOBD doesn’t have an option for USB connection, but it does have a connection called Torque*. (Why the asterisk?) I can connect in Torque Pro, then I switch to ActiveOBD and it always hangs at 75% connecting. Is this how it’s supposed to work?

My understanding is the ActiveOBD app is mostly just used for testing to see whether it will work with your car, and if it does work then you should buy the Torque plugin, do I have that right?

i’m having similiar issues. I cannot get any activeobd information into torque pro. My understanding is there was/is a seperate plug-in from the stand alone activeobd app, but I cannot find it.

any help would be appreciated.
