Post EGR command and EGR error
on: February 26, 2019 (GMT)

On my Mazda Tribute I get a reading for EGR command 10.2% and EGR error -62.5%. I do at least one CAT bad, been getting P0430. Have cleaned CAT with seafoam as recommended by a mechanic to try it out. I am not getting error code as often now, have cleared the code. In the emissions test CAT test completes, but evaporation says incomplete. I am don know what the two EGR readings mean, can someone help please. Thank you

Its my understanding that those OBDII pids
represent the state of your EGR valve position
where zero is closed and one hundred is full
open. (Commanded).

Error is expressing the difference between actual
versus commanded position.
