Post Dials lost
on: January 18, 2019 (GMT)

Hi,

I am using Torque lite 1.2.22 since 2015.
Unfortunately I lost all my gauges and dials already a couple of times during the half year. I would like to avoid this.
There is a dialogue in Torque Lite when this happens:
“One of the recent changes means that you will need to delete and re-create any displays that have stopped working since the last version due to a change that had to be made…….”

My application is as follows: A Nexus 4 phone (Mako) running cyanogenos 14. It is always present in the car.
The phone boots when a power source is detected (fastboot oem off-mode-charge 0). Torque Lite is started by Startup Manager (Free). The phone is shut down by an AutomateIt script, after a minute of no power source detected (vehicle ignition turned off).

Regards
Frank

P.S.
I have also bought Torque Pro, but then I did not manage to have it start up to my dials and gauges screen. So I continued to use Torque lite and just acknowledge the nag dialogue.

According to Google Play, Torque Lite
version 1.2.22 updated Jan. 2018.
Maybe the update caused your issue.

Torque Pro has dashboard settings that
can used to startup in the realtime display
dashboard.

Thanks for the info. But the issues were all in the last couple of months, a long time after I updated to version 1.2.22.
I am considering to try a setup with Torque Pro once more, if I loose my dials again.
Regards
Frank
