Hmmm I updated it (JAVA) yesterday, without “sound-success”.

Ya, same here. Is everyone still using Java 6? I know Java 7 is available to developers. So I haven’t updated to that version yet as it requires a special developers kit and I don’t know what to do with that.

Found the audio issue. Also think I may know why some of you aren’t getting videos showing in the first window.

Hopefully will have a new all singing, all dancing version up in the next day or so!

Any idea where I could get the app? :)

Double clicking on TorqueEncoder4.jar, and noting. I’ve reset the PC after installing Xuggler.

jar has no program on list to be opened with.

Latest version of the jar is now available (from the wiki linked in my last post). This should fix the audio and a couple of other issues!

I have sound and video on the bionic.

I see 4 displays (rpm, boost, throttle position and speed) on my phone but when it encodes the video for play back it only shows two (speed and rpm).

BTW the data rates while using the Track Recorder are much much much faster then when using the standard realtime information option. Do you have any idea why?

Would it be possible for you to zip the folder with that video in (and all the other bits) up and send to me – I’d like to see why you’re not getting a couple of the displays (sounds like a bug with them)

What is your e-mail address? I might have to create a smaller file so it will transfer.

with v5:

Hmmm now it found the videos 3 times, they were listed and had the correct MB and length, but I got no preview-picture. If I tried to convert them then, i got the “Converting”-Screen but nothing happened.

If it’s working: (I found out that it’s only working when my GData 2012 Internet Security Antivirus-Guard is disabled!)

I’m seeing in the Task-Manager that the javaw.exe is getting started, and if I’m trying to convert and following I’m aborting, the prozess is being killed after a few seconds (what it should do usually). But if I’m only opening the .jar and then I’m closing it, the javaw.exe is not getting closed. If I’m starting and closing it 5 times, I have 5x the javaw.exe in the task-manager running with 5x ~ 80MB using. Hope that’s helping you. And I hope will soon be able to export my Videos :-)

ian@prowl.org – any size will do as long as the issue can be reproduced :)

Yes, the encoder doesn’t quit properly – a bug, and it’ll get squished :)

Here is the file

Do you have any idea why the data rates are higher in the TR compared to the RT data selection?

Hi

I’m in the process of testing the next main app update, once that’s released I’ll be spending some time on the encoder application again (with some new features). sit tight! :-)

yay! I was just going to ask about that. I’m holding off on buying a new bluetooth adapter in hopes of the encoder not encoding sound bug being fixed.
