Post Recommended adaptor
on: December 9, 2018 (GMT)

Hi all

Currently running torque lite in my Xperia z5.
Using eBay dl16 lead and eBay Bluetooth adapter to connect to my 2005 Mercedes sprinter 311cdi.

The only thing I actually want to be able to see is the mpg. Both instant and average are visible but neither are accurate. The instant is 11-13 most of the time but momentarily jumps up to 255mpg even when using cruise control at 60mph, but when I’m coasting down a long hill it only goes as high as 18mpg(even with cruise switched off). The average says about 13 but actual mpg is close to 30.

I suspect my cheap adaptor to be the weak link I’m the communication chain!

Can forum members recommend a good quality adaptor, preferably with a link!!

PS I did try to do a search but didn’t find anything. Possibly due to no WiFi so having to do this on my phone!
