I do not believe my phone (S9+) is handling NEARLY as many PID reads as are indicated by the Adapter report. And I ‘feel’ it is gradually getting slower.

I DO HAVE general settings configured for 15 dashboards – and many are used – some pretty busy.

MY QUESTION: Does Torque Pro sort out and read ‘only’ PIDs for the ‘ACTIVE’ dashboard screen. Or are ALL PIDs defined in all screens read all the time.

Torque program polls only PIDs from active screen
and periodically polls standard PIDs
You can see all the requests that the program issues, for this you need in the phone settings – the section for the developer to enable recording of the exchange traffic on bluetooth
recording traffic exchange on bluetooth possible versions of android 5+
On the phone card or its emulator, the bluetooth exchange log will be written, which will be called btsnoop_hci.log
the log can be viewed on the computer using the program Wireshark
if you do not understand, write to the mail

Thanks @cintakc

I do understand. Just had not become THAT seasoned a user yet!

But I’ll get there!
