Per Wiki, the OBD MAP pid (0b) tops out at 255 kPa =
22.32 Psig max boost which is approximately 1.6 bar.

You might try pid 0170 for a response or a manufacturer
specific pid instead.

I changed MAP senzor with another who can misurate max presure until 2.5 bars. original can 2.0 bars..also ECU is reprogramed and is another set up for new MAP senzor in ECU.

do a look here: https://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=2894.0

I’se sorted the boost reading using standard map sensor PID and this formula: A+256*(1-((24-A)&256)/256)

But what is with the cars that are stopping at 255kpa. Is there also a fix ?
My car peaks at 1.9bar….but torque only reads 1.6bar. there are no negative numbers in the log….so in my car the fix from this thread won’t work :-(
