IMHO Open loop message means the fuel/air ratio
is not being controlled by your O2 sensors
because of your low engine temperature.

What does your engine coolant sensor
report? Is it faulty?

Low coolant level? Air bubble trapped where
sensor is installed?

Thermostat stuck open or missing?

Extremely cold environmental conditions?

Your PCM monitors the ECT sensor to measure how
long it takes it to reach the temperature necessary
for closed-loop operation within a predetermined time.

Have you searched the DTC definition using
Torque Pro’s search feature?

As always I could be wrong.
