Post How 2 Update Preinstalled Torque Pro?

Hi all,

i am new here, but did not find the corect answer when searching for my Radio type.

I bought an android Radio (Pumpkin) with preinstalled
Torque pro – the version is 1.6.62

i want to update this one, but when going to the playstore
it only shows me “uninstall” or “open” (Torque pro).
also Playstore tells current Version 1.8.xxx.

of course i habe some PID, my dashboard working, but hope to have some more features in the new Version.

i think when uninstalling i also lose my settings?

Any idea how i can geht the latest version? Of course i would buy it, if i have the chance

Keeping my personal PID would be great

Ian has stated many times in the past that Torque is
only distributed through Google Play.

If you purchase using Google Play store
then the updates should be presented for
download as they become available.

Thanks..but i didn buy it – it was preinstalled
on a legally bought device.

And as i am also in software business
i thought kind of OEM.
And honestly: Playstore should show me that this is not correct

i now asked at the Radios manufacturer what i bought.
I am not interested in stolen Software if you guys tell me that this ist not correct

This post was in regard to “Torque for PC” thread but
discusses where it is available from. As for your
question about updating the app I believe my
answer is correct.

Only Ian can answer about your particular device and
what was preinstalled. (Legal or not).

(Just another Torque Pro user).

i see 2 additional posts/answers but cant read them.
Can anyone help me?

in the meantime i deleted the preinstalled one and
bought it from playstore…all settings are still there
