Post Constant update version, we erased all your settings messages

Used this for a good year and a half, no complaints at all. Suddenly, it starts wiping out my screens every other time I use it. It done it 4 times in the last 3 days. Can you please figure out a way to update without screwing everybody. Or are you just screwing me up?
