Apparently this is still a great mystery.

I’ve compiled a sheet about BMW PIDs and I’d like to invite you to collaborate:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1O0YGWJ116Iw3ahWbitswtLod-T42D8GbRRtfxiE1r84/edit?usp=sharing

I’ve already managed to extract and qualify a good amount of PIDs which can be found on the sheet named “DDE7”. These PIDs are working on my N47 engine and might work too on other diesel engines with the same ECU model, hence the name “DDE7”

The aim of this document is to provide a way to research all working PIDs and formulas for the different ECU models and engines.

Please let me know if you want to have write-access to the document and I’ll set up the permissions.

NOTE: Some of the PIDs might have a header attached. I tried to strip off the unnecessary bits but I decided to leave most of the information as-is because it might be relevant. For example:
“12070B100F34” is most probably just “0B100F34” but I can’t test this.
