I have ELM 327 adapter and Torque PRO . I tried to use it on my 97 lincoln and a 1996 ford contour but couldnt get the adapter to talk to ECM . used ot on a 2005 nissan Altima yesterday with no problems .. and suggestions ?

There are some clone Elm327s which have problems
with the older protocols like PWM, VPW and ISO. Maybe
this is your issue.

I ordered mine through wallmart V2.1 ELM 327 .. where can I get a real one
