Post What does shift error mean?

While looking at various pid data, noticed the following:
(Gm) 1-2 shift error
Latest value: 6.275 seconds
(Gm) 1-2 shift time
Latest value: 0.625 seconds
(Gm) 2-4 shift error
Latest value: 0.55 seconds
(Gm) 2-4 shift time
Latest value: 0.025 seconds
(Gm) 3-4 shift error
Latest value: 5.95 seconds
(Gm) 3-4 shift time
Latest value: 0.45 seconds

My question, what defines a shift error? I searched first but all results pertained to shift lights, not shift errors. Thanks
