Post Torque pro not connecting to ecu

So I have a 1991 300zx twin turbo and a obd1 Bluetooth adapter from obdinovations. My problem is the app connects to the adapter but not the ecu. I set the app to use the beta Nissan consult. Not sure what wrong any help would be awesome
