I have not had that come up when I have scanned for codes.

I’ll see if I can find that code somewhere.

Only suggestion I would have is to make sure your vehicle is set up correctly.

Oh, there might be some thing else to check, have you seen your PCM Strategy or version?

It’s in the ‘adapter status’ screen. It should show you the strategy of the program in your truck. (Some call it the “flash”, like, “the latest flash”)

Mine is
PCM = vxbc9nb

This one is the tune in the FICM = amz2al11 (stock tune)

it doesn’t pick up the TCM strategy.

These are just thoughts, I can not say that could be an issue. Just rambling thoughts on my part.

Maybe post this issue in a new thread here and maybe Ian will stop in. I see He has this in Beta testing for Nissan. The guy must be burning candles at both ends.

From what I have found, it is your “compass module” giving you that code. I see they do or can go out. First I have seen this code. If you do a search “Ford 6.0L code U2013” you will find some info on it.

The adapter status screen works great and does display a long list of available sensors. Which is why I don’t understand why I get that message because it obviously does connect to my ECU and the adapter status say my ECU conforms to both OBD and OBD2.
Maybe my Adapter Version is old? ELM327 v1.3

so was just wondering, is there a pid for ebp, if so can you post the formula for this so that i can input it into the app.

max = 100.0
scale factor = x1
unit type = psi

I have put a space between each character for easier reading

equation =

( ( A * 256 ) + B ) * ( 36.25 / 1000 )

OBD HEADER = AUTO

That is what is in my phone. I haven’t used it.

First the tranny. Go to the ford list and go into edit and make sure the OBD Header says ‘TCM”.

You will need to go into the oil temp and edit to check the equation.

Use this one if it is different than what you see.

( ( ( A * 256 ) + B ) / 100 ) – 40

Is there a PID for cooling fan duty cycle for the 6.0? The fan speed is there in the extended PID list but not duty cycle.

I have not seen a fan duty cycle for the 6.0L.

Tried to get one to work on another type of gauge, and it didn’t get to working there either.

Equation ((A*256)+B) * 0.003051
Unit: %

I haven’t tested this one though, so it could be wrong.

PID: 22091F didn’t seem to work for me. I looked at what the scangauge guys are using and it’s
PID: 22099F which did give a result. On my truck I was seeing numbers like 5.6-7.2 so it doesn’t seem correct.

I got the same results. PID 22091F no readings. PID 22099F anywhere from 5.0 % up to 10.8% depending on engine RPM
Outside temperature 30*F Fan speed 742 RPM, Duty Cycle 9.1%, Coolant Temp 185*, Engine Idle Speed 696 RPM, Engine Oil Temp 178*

QUESTION? Anyone know of the formula to hand calculate the duty cycle for a given set of parameters to check accuracy?

The operating range of the fan when it comes to RPMs is 0-4000.

I don’t have anything else.

On the Scangauge II the PID for Fan Speed is 22099F. And is what I use for Fan speed on it.

I have an interesting issue. My boost gauge works great except when under wot conditions. It then registers as a vaccum. Any ideas?
