Hi.

You have to delete the “translation_it_override” in your “.torque” folder 😉

Hi.

The application which assists translation was made.
CGI/Perl Based.
Edit requires a password.
A preview and a file output are password needlessness.
Please try.

Seems to work, but which file I’m going to modify? Is it a copy in your personal server?

PS: I sent to Ian a new updated italian translation file just one hour ago.

incorporated it so you will see it in the next update :)

I am still watching threads – if I don’t reply it’s usually due to trying to concentrate on adding peoples suggestions(there’s a lot to do now, which is cool! :-))

I can follow your updates with changelog thread. No problem if you can’t reply every post here.

If possible, you should create a procedure to have constantly updated every translation. For example you could update the wiki base english file frequently (automatically?) and create a mailing list to notify each official translator that updates are present. In this case, every time the app will introduce new sentences or words, the final user had to wait for the next update to have these sentences translated.

Alternatively you could create a dedicated encrypted file (or more than one) contains every translation, make possible to download this file (or files) and place it manually into the .torque folder (or create an updating procedure directly in Torque menu would be perfect). In this case, every time an app update will be released, every translator could translate the new sentences and you will have to update only the translation file intead of the entire app. The final user can update the translation file (manually or automatically) just a few days or hours after the release of the app.

These are only suggestions :-)

Hi Ian,
with latest Torque release there is a problem with the italian translation because I can see the backshashes into the translated sentences instead of the equivalent characters or carriage returns.

For example I can see the characters “\n\n” within a popup message.

There are some issues in the translation for portugues and sensors seems to show duplicated in the list.

Wouldn’t have a way to create a TXT file with all the wording and then just replace the original in the torque folder?

I can take a look for you if you wish. In exchange you look into the Cut Off for my car?? LOL

Isn’t there a way to check with cut off in the fuel line? Once the fuel stop to be injected or something in that way?
