I had the chance to to test another application (bmw carly*)
and apparently it is showing the Engine Oil Temperature. Unfortunately, I could not find out how it works (it has fixed indicators and instruments) but it was working.

I am not planning to buy it because I only need EOT and it is too expensive just for that but somehow it can be done.

Have to mention that my car is F series so probably have to find the OP to give us the codes for the rest series?

Anyway, every idea is welcome.

* I have tried most of the available apps for android and only the above worked.

I can’t remember where
but I have already found and test the 015C
I still have it with the below format
I am getting no DATA | No Response

Do you know if the values or equation is wrong?

Mode PID:015C
Min-Max Value = -40 | 215
scale X1
Equation = A-40
OBD Header = auto | blank

What you mean you check the scanner?

perhaps in the program settings are used, which do not affect the team, who does not understand the adapter
try to include logging bluetooth phone and record a log with this program

Unfortunately I don’t know how to do that, and the adapter with the program aren’t available. Probably I will meet my friend in 1-2 weeks but again don’t know how to do it..

I looked at what makes a program requests Carly BMW, if you like to have precise answers to these questions, I could see the the exchange of on the emulator
6F1: 12 03 22 F1 50
6F1: 12 03 19 02 0C
6F1: 12 03 22 F1 8C

I think your adapter will not be able to ask these command
you could take another adapter at a time from their friends

Is there a way to check my adapter with these commands?

Is it a matter af adapter?
Do you believe that torque pro could handle these requests?

Which adapter you suggest to buy?

check your adapter is a program
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.applagapp.elm327identifier&hl=ru

you can buy an adapter at the store, go to the car, plug it in, check your adapter and this program if it is bad, then return adapter back
