Has anyone had any luck finding any plugins for additions PIDs that may support Toyota vehicles (especially the camrys)?

The “org.prowl.torque.PID_QUERY” broadcast no longer works after Oreo.

At the moment it’s not a problem but all apps updated after November 2018 MUST use > API 26, which means implicit broadcasts will no longer work.

Anybody knows how to send a PID to the main app from your plugin and make it private exactly like the pic? I tried sendPIDDataPrivateV2 but it still shows the equation and allows you to edit the PID.

HI, I was just wonder if you would be able to help or advice who could help.

I’m happy user of OBD2BT with Torque Pro, it works fantastic but…

I would like to replace my standard OEM LCD in front of dash in my Honda Accord with 7? Tablet … and what would be missing to achieve this, is missing status of TEMP (Dual), FAN Speed, Position Status. AIR COn Status ON/OFF… all of it is art of OEM LCD

Is there any way to write/develope a pieace of code and add as plugin/widget to Torque PRO for Honda Accord 2011 in landscape mode so it would be visible fully on the bottom of the screen, (pls check attachment)

Is it possible to get this values from ODB2 and create such a plugin :)?

Is there any way to get a working PID for my Volvo V60 with this information? I want to show the climate control temp and possible seat warmers.

It seems that getting PIDs via “sendCommandGetResponse” is slow. In my case, the Torque is reporting adapter PID speed – about 100 PIDs/s maximum, 75 PIDs/s average. When I call “torqueService.sendCommandGetResponse(“7e0”, “0110”)”, in a loop, I get about 20 PIDs/s, according to my measurements. Tested on Sony Z3C with OBDLink LX (bluetooth) Torque 1.8.202. Is this (slow) rate of “sendCommandGetResponse” expected (I assume that PID speed reported by Torque is correct)? Can it be implemented to be faster (as fast as possible)?

Hi,

Has anyone tested their plug in with multiple bluetooth connections? Say connectivity to the OBD2 scanner and another peripheral?

Hi,

Need some help with plugin development. I am trying to deploy my plugin in Android studio. Issue is that when I try to deploy/debug to an external device, I get “Error running app, Default activity not found”.

I am following the example posted here as well as TorqueScan sample….

All help greatly appreciated,

***NOTE***
I was able to sign it and install it. Wanted to know if i can have an active debug session over ADB/USB

Anyone knows Toyota specific command for reading VIN? I sent 09 02 command to my Toyota Corolla Altis (CAN bus) and it returned all FF

Anyone with Toyota plugin? I want to read my VIN. 09 02 command doesn’t work.

@piemmm: can you maybe update the PID list on https://torque-bhp.com/wiki/PluginDocumentation?

I’ve reverse-engineered some PIDs by saving my dashboard setup and reading the PIDs from the export, but that’s a lot of work 😛

Edit: Never mind, using torquescanner I got all the data I need
