I think Vectra-C has different BUS so I just ordered OP-COM and it will be faster to handle it. It looks like Vectra has a lot of special PIDs.

Hello cintakc.
I have one more request if u could help.
I’d like to have the following PID “Counter interrupted regenerations DPF” for Opel Astra J 1.6 cdti (136ps) with engine code B16DTH.
I have used the following info : “”223047″,”A*256+B”,”0″,”65535″,”counts”,”7E0″ ” but it does not work.
Any way to get it?
Thanks in advance.

Regards

I’ll see.
Which shows in the Test mode of this PID?

This PID is not supported by your ECU

So there is no way to get how many regens have been interrupted for my car?
:-(

You can derive parameter causes delays execution of regeneration

I have Insignia 2.0 CDTI 130 hp.. I want to create DPF information. Can someone summarize all about operation. I read all comments and could not decide what i supposed do.

Thank you.

Yes, cintack is the best!
Try to reverse filters in that start/stop commands:
atcra5e8\n atd1 \n ath1…
Even so, i get slow response from pids. in some cases refresh rate is about 8 seconds…and when using other pids like egr or instant fuel rate, this rate is…not nice

I had tried all the protocols in the hope that I will make the refresh rate of the pid’s to be more rapid, but the fastest is iso 11b 500k, at least in my case. I also try to keep as few pid’s as possible- egr error, pdf regeneration %, pdf load %, pdf distance since last regeneration, turbo/vacuum.

I did not notice a visible improvment whith atd*\ath* reversal. Maybe it is just me.

Best regards!

I will say it again: CINTACK IS THE BEST HERE!
Thank you so much for those many hours that you loose in order to find pids for my car.

I stop trying to improve refresh rate…
Instead, i use a screen called “opel dpf”, with only dpf related pids where i use “atcra” commands (with slow refresh)
and i use a normal opel screen for other mode 22 pids without atcra, that has a more faster refresh rate…

Hi Cintack,

Started to follow this topic long time ago but due no time keep it on old.

Saw you helped with main PID’s for Astra J/K (engines B16DTH, B16DTL , B16DTE)

“Name”,”ShortName”,”ModeAndPID”,”Equation”,”Min Value”,”Max Value”,”Units”,”Header”
“OPEL Astra-K Distance Since Last DPF Regeneration”,”Dist. DPF”,”223039″,”A*256+B”,”0″,”65535″,”km”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K DPF Differential Pressure”,”Diff. press.”,”2220F4″,”SIGNED(A)”,”-128″,”127″,”kPa”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K Calculated DPF Flow”,”DPF flow”,”2220F5″,”A*0.01″,”0″,”2.55″,”kPa”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K DPF Differential Pressure Sensor”,”Diff.pres.sen”,”223035″,”A*5.5/255″,”0″,”5.5″,”V”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K DPF Regeneration Status”,”DPF dif.stat”,”2220FA”,”{A:0}”,”0″,”255″,”req/not req”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K DPF Soot Accumulation”,”DPF Soot”,”22336A”,”A”,”0″,”255″,”%”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K Average DPF Inlet Temperature During Regeneration”,”DPF Inlet temp”,”2220F8″,”(A*256+B)*0.1-40″,”-40″,”6513″,”degree C”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K DPF HO2S 1″,”HO2S 1″,”220034″,”A*20/255″,”0″,”20″,”Lambda”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K DPF HO2S 1 Oxigen Concentration”,”HO2S 1 Conc.”,”2220FD”,”(A*33.55/255+B*0.13/255)-12″,”-12″,”21.68″,”%”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K DPF HO2S 2 Oxigen Concentration”,”HO2S 2 Conc.”,”2223AD”,”(A*33.55/255+B*0.13/255)-12″,”-12″,”21.68″,”%”,”7E0″
“OPEL Astra-K TCM Temperature”,”TCM temp”,”22280D”,”A-40″,”-40″,”215″,”degree C”,”7E1″
“OPEL Astra-K Remaining engine oil life.”,”Rem.eng.oil”,”1A6D”,”A*100/255″,”0″,”100″,”%”,”7E0″

but this values at least in my car dosen’t seam to work as expected in my car (astra J 1.6 136hp -B16DTH).

I got values but don’t match, like no increase in distance since regeneration, etc

Currently I am mainly focusing in “1A6D” Oil life, and right now in CB shows 50% and PID reports 42.7%

Do you know if exist differences from model J to K even if same engine?

Just need some tips in which direction to continue researching.

thanks in advance

Thanks CINTACK for the fast answer, will try it.

Regarding Oil life is solved, just needed to replace A by B after debug answer

R: 1A6D
A: 7E8 03 5A 6D 7E

Guess Torque is expecting different answer and see “6D” as A when still part of the sent command “1A6D”, real value is B for the case

Correct:
“OPEL Astra-K Remaining engine oil life.”,”Rem.eng.oil”,”1A6D”,”B*100/255?,”0?,”100?,”%”,”7E0?

Where you got details for MODE22 used by GM?

the byte offset occurs due to the peculiarity of the exchange protocol with the ECU via ELM327
