cintakc I just talked with my friend and he said that when compared to opcom the values ur formulas give seem to be the same so they should be ok.
On the other hand I am using on my Astra J 1.6 cdti 136ps the
following PID : “2220fa DPF Regeneration Status DPF Status 0 255 On / Off {A: 0} 7E0” but today I noticed that DPF was regenerating but the whole 10-15 mins it happened the Regen Status was at Off .
Anything we can do?
Thanks in advance once more .

Ok I will set it now but it will take some days to test it since it just finished one and (I hope) next one will not start for at least 400+ km.
Thnx once more my friend :-)

this PID 2220FA for OPEL Astra-K

I know but most of the others for Astra-K work for Astra-J as well since it’s the same engine.
With the new equation (1-{A:0}) I put though it shows as always On for the Regeneration Status so I think I will take the “1-” part of the equation out and see how it goes.
Thnx once more my friend

Give answer in hexadecimal on the this PID
it is possible that this PID is not supported on your car

PID is supported on your car, write the change log of this PID
if you use the formula 1-{A:0}, then according to the value you specify, it should show “ON”
if you use the formula {A:0}, then according to the value you specify, it should show “OFF”

Indeed it shows on now with the formula being 1-{A:0} so it should be showing off if I leave it as it was before {A:0}. Trouble is that the previous time while it was like this {A:0} when the regeneration started and during the whole time it was working it still showed Off. To be accurate though I had the formula as {A:0} but the max value instead of 1 was 255. So it could have been.
I will set it again as {A:0} and wait till next regen to see if it works.
Thnx again my friend.

Hello,

First of all, English it is not my native language so sorry for my errors.

Second, I had read all the posts, and I had tried all the pids with the hope that I will have at least one dpf sensor working. Nothing.

I have a Opel Zafira B, from 2011, 1,7 dci, diesel.

Do I have to provide the engine code, or the chasis code? I did initiate the full scan but afer 2 hours it was not done.

Do I have any of the dpf related sensors?

Can somebody help me?

Thank you in advance.

or you did not specify a complete response to the command aa0329, or your adapter did not execute the ath1 command

for example, on the first page of this topic
>> atcra5e8
OK
>> aa0118
5E8 18 22 32 5D 00 3F 00
you:
aa0329 > 9:621405003A0000

I think for your engine fit the PIDs – aa03xx

Regenerations Sincle DPF Exchange (DPF)
aa0329 D*256+E - 00h*256+3Ah=58

Load state particle filter
aa0329 A*200/255 % 62h*200/255=76.8 %

Particle filter differential pressure
aa0329 C-5 kPa 05h-5=0 kPa

Particle filter differential pressure sensor (volt)
aa0329 B*5/255 V 14h*5/255=0.37 v

Thank you Sir, for your reply.

I did enter the commands as you instructed me; I will do it again. Also, I will try the custom pid’s that you gave, and then, I will report back.

Thank you.

Thank you cintakc, I had done this:

atz > ELM 327v1.5
ath1 > ATH1 OK
atsp6 > OK
atsh7e0 > OK
20 > 60
3e > 7E
atcra5e8 > OK
aa0329 > 9:621405003A0000
aa0118 > NODATA

atz > ELM 327v1.5
ath1 > ATH1 OK
atsp6 > OK
atsh7e0 > OK
20 > 60
3e > 7E
atcra5e8 > OK
aa0118 > NODATA

atz > ELM 327v1.5
ath1 > ATH1 OK
atsp6 > OK
atsh7e0 > OK
20 > 60
3e > 7E
atcra5e8 > OK
aa0329 > 9:621405003A0000

Then I create the custom pids, based on the data from you, and did nit worked; I also pushed the test button from pids =, and received the no data message.

What I am doing wrong? I will try to upload screenshots from console, and from custom pids.

Thank you so much Sir for your time and patience

Edit 1

I can not upload screenshots, but I upload them on this google drive link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IughoOtUEK0SWvw6dcZZYQh1UQybJ6TW?usp=sharing

I looked, you are connected to the ECS using a standard protocol,
To connect to the factory protocol, you need to configure the auto profile, where to register the initialization string
atsp6\nath1\natsh7e0\natcra5e8

try in the terminal ElmBasic send commands as in the screenshot, what you get the answer
