Hi Cyp,

First very very cool app !

I think a “hideTicksOnCircle” would be great ! It would allow to hide Ticks on round displays, but keeping them displayed on square ones :)

It seems hideTicks_0c=true is not working ?

Have a nice day !

Ok I really want mine to say Ram, so is there a way I can make it? Is there a program I need to make gauges?

I made some gauges for my Dodge Ram. I know Ian doesn’t want logos and such, but if anyone wants to manually install it, I’m willing to host them. Is that okay?

Screenshot of different gauge styles:

Dude, I’d love a copy of your theme!

I like this and would like to make up my own but I am having trouble doing it. Is there something that can tell me how to do this?

Thanks, Bill

Hi forum!

I’m driving a BMW 335i build in 03/11 and decided to make a theme for it.

If you guys like it, I can upload it. The Dials look exactly like the ones on my dashboard :-).

I saw someone else asked this question, but I never saw an answer: can one theme be applied to one profile, and another theme applied to a different profile? I have two different GM vehicles, each a different year and different cluster and illumination color. I’d love to have Torque match each car.

hi,
does anybody know how to change the green line color in the “Graph” display? I cannot find any place in properties.txt to change it.

I downloaded “Bulletproof” theme from “settings/themes/choose a theme” and changed properties.txt in /SDCard/.torque/themeDir like this:

# Dial main settings, more will be added upon request for particular setting(s)
dialTickInnerRadius=1.25
dialTickOuterRadius=1.34
displayTickColour=#ff0000

displayTextTitleColour=#f60826
displayTextValueColour=#ff0000
displayIndicatorColour=#ff0000

dialNeedleLength=1.30
hideTicks_=false
globalHideTicks=false

hi, is it possible to automise a change from one theme (a bright “day-theme”) to another (a darker “night-theme), maybe timecontrolled?

why isn´t it possible to change a theme when not beeing connectet to the net. even when both of the themes are downloaded from the themeserver already?

Hey there,

first post her. I wanted to say the same thing. Would be great if theres a night and day-theme change.

Istarted to creat a specieltheme vor my car. Her is a first dial:

Now I have a question: if the hideticks option is on, will there be still the text (numbers) on the dial? Because i would like zo do the numbers on the background. Will this work?

i tested my theme by using the following properties.txt:

displayTickColour=#6a7171
displayTextTitleColour=#6a7171
displayTextValueColour=#0f0400
displayIndicatorColour=#c93800

dialNeedleLength=1.24
dialTickInnerRadius=1.15
dialTickOuterRadius=1.42

dialStartAngle_0b=22.5
dialStopAngle_0b=67.5
hideTicks_0b=true

is it possible the “hideticks” code doesnt work? could somebody fix it or give me a hint what is wrong?

when i’ve done the complett theme i could remove the logos to share it. it’s made for an 2005 seat leon cupra r. the car is a little bit modified, so the values could be wrong for oem version, but if anybody wants it i could do this values to. now i’m working on the display, but this theme will only work with the hideticks option. would be great if Ian could fix that…

… at ian! on you email you told me to answer on the forum now.

Could you please answer these themechange questions. Timecontrolled couldn’t be that difficult and should work on each device. It is an essential thing! Any cars dashboard has a completely different look on day and on night.

and PLEASE make the “hideticks” work… would be great if there are no ticks or numbers to use a fully car-specific theme!

you can *hide* ticks putting them out of the picture using high values settings:

dialTickInnerRadius=10
dialTickOuterRadius=10

same thing with the text:

globalTextRadius=10

😉

ok, thanks for this hint. i thought about to do so, but didnt try jet. but it only solves a part of the problem. if i use this setings i am forced to do a complet dial for each value becuase its an global option. i wanted to hide the ticks just on the “main” dials. for all others i’ve done a “default” dial which uses the generated ticks and text. but if this is the only way i’ll make a dial for each value…

Hi, new here, I’ve been trying to change the theme Pure White so that the needle is red and it has an angle of 10-20 degrees or so like a real gauge, I can’t seem to have any luck with it, I followed instructions on the wiki but when i replace the .zip file in torque it doesn’t do anything, even if I replace the theme.zip with one someone else made it does nothing, the only way to change the theme is under theme manager. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if anyone knew where I could get this theme that would work fine. http://www.tacomaworld.com/gallery/data/500/medium/5screeenshot.JPG
