I have 2003 Subaru forester 2.0 XT.
A friend of mine gifte me an obd2 adapter but I haven’t been able to connect to the ECU using torque. We tried using the same obd to my friends subaru impreza and forester and it worked fine, so the adapter doesn’t seem to be the problem. We also tried using different phones, again nothing changed. I then tried using a different app ( OBD Auto doctor) and it connected immediately and it is working fine. I don’t like the other app, I want to use the torque app since I really like the dashboard and all of its features and is very user friendly and suits my needs.I have already purchased the pro version. So I’m trying to get it to work but haven’t found a solution yet. Since the other app was able to connect to the ECU, I’m guessing there is a possible fix. Do you have any ideas on what should I do?
