Post Discovery Sport DPF soot level & regen info
on: July 14, 2022 (GMT)

Hi, new user here, so apologies for my ignorance.

I would like to monitor the soot level and also when the vehicle is ready to do a regen of the dpf so I can make sure I keep driving when it needs it. Is there a way to add this? I have the torque adapter & torque pro app. Thanks

Some Ford diesel owners were able to monitor
the exhaust temperatures to “see” when
the regen was active. 018B was also a
pid of interest.

Search the forum to see how they used
this info.

They used 22F4xx to monitor
Mode 01 pids. e.g., 22F48B
for 018B.

Thank you. I could see that the temperature on one of the sensors did go to over 600 so assume that was a regen. Didn’t last as long as I thought though.. I’ll check out the post from the Ford owners too
