custom dials resetting

Hi, can somebody please help?
been using Torque pro for many years and never got to the bottom of this problem.

every time I set up a new dash it works great for say a week or two and then out of the blue just re sets its self back to the default dash’s…..
I must be doing something wrong because this has happened over multiple installs on multiple devices and cars.

what am i not doing? please help

I suggest using a vehicle profile
with use separate dashboard layout
option set.

yep, already did this but still just re sets its self.

Can i just ask, i have tried two ways, first to delete all the standard dials and then do my own set of dials. second…. leave the original standard dials and then add another page and add my own dials. in both cases, it just re sets and at no given interval, can be a day or two weeks…

I love this app but keep having to re do it is a real pain..

any ideas would be great ?

I’ve used Torque Pro for years without this issue. As a fallback you should try to save the dashboard layout once created your way in case you need to restore it.

Separate profiles keeps the pid list and dashboards unique to each vehicle.

Have you tried Uninstalling and reinstalling Torque Pro?

hi and thanks for coming back to me..

yes I have created a separate profile for my car with all details filled in.

I have just had to re do my dials again tonight as it did it again but this time i have reduced the number of dashboards to one, then inserted my dials, exited the program all together so it saves it, then i went back in it, all ok so i then went into the menu and did the backup thing so if / when it happens again i hope i should just be able to recall my dash from their.

Its just so annoying not being able to sort it and i just know it will be something simple. and what’s worse is having only your feedback on here tells me its not a common problem.

Oh and yes, I have re installed lots of times.
