Hi!

Torque should work with any OBD2 complaint vehicle – you will need to check that your vehicle supports OBD2 (just having the correct shaped connector does not mean OBD2 compliance)

In general OBD2 is supported (in EU/US) from 1996 onwards for most petrol based vehicles (and Diesels from 2004 onwards).

If your vehicle is definitely OBD2 compliant then it should definitely work with Torque – if it’s not then the next thing to check is the adapter

The OBD2 adapters negotiate the connection with the ECU – this can take place using several different signalling protocols (using different wires in the OBD2 port). If you’re using a clone adapter then sometimes not all the signalling protocols work properly (when they should) in which case it usually means the adapter is faulty (and should get it replaced). Most sellers are aware of this so you should have no issues getting any faulty adapters replaced.
