“My MPG is off” is a common topic, but what I’m wondering is if there’s a way to use the GPS speedo and miles travelled to calculate instant and average MPG…?

Liked is there a way to create a formula based gauge that divides GPS speed by fuel consumption?

Hi!

This is already done in the ‘Enhance MPG calculation’ but most users don’t enable it by default, so the app uses a calculation that uses less OBD sensors (but can be a little less accurate on some vehicles)

The enhanced MPG calculation can be enabled in the OBD2 adapter settings (underneath ‘Faster communications’ which basically should also be enabled by default)

Awesome, thanks!

I saw that, but it’s vague reference to “uses more sensors” without saying which sensors wasn’t particularly clear.

Hi!

Thanks – I’ll try to change the wording to make it clearer for people!
