Post 2014 Ford E series pid's?

Hello all, I am a little lost on adding sensors that are not auto found. If I understand what I have been reading the Tranny temp sensor for fords have to be manually added? Can someone enlighten me or provide a link where it explains this and other custom pid’s for Fords?
