Hi All

I am new to this app and have been struggling to find the things i wanted from it so thought i would ask the people who know to see if i am fighting a losing battle.

I got the reader and the app as i have no cruse control. Its common on e46 BMW’s apparently. i had seen a video of someone using a scanner to see live info on the switches of the car so you can test the steering wheel buttons and the break switch. i cant find that info anywhere but its clearly possible with some scanners as i have seen it done. Can torque do this? it the main reason i got it, if it cant can any one recommend an app that can?

i suspect torque won’t do it …by default

since those are not OBD value

you would need to know the exact PID value and use a custom PID

i think BWM have a specific app

beemer or something … not sur at all
