Hi,

After latest update on sept 2020 my head unit cannot run my torque pro version.
This appears to be a fix version for Android 11 crash but it’s introduced an immediate crash on start. I’vee fully rebooted several times and cannot seem to get it to start.
Uninstalled and re-installed from the android marketplace.

App version 1.10.120
My head unit is on Android 6.0.1
Kernel 3.14.0+
sofia3gr_car_64-userdebug

Unfortunately I cannot upgrade the Android or patch it as it’s no longer available from manufacturer.

Anyone any ideas please?

maybe an old version of torque

i have seen some floating around the web

search for android APK i just saw some 1.8 version here and there

Good point, might have to just skip the android marketplace version and use the apk direct as the last one worked fine.

My suspicion is it’s the android 11 fix that was applied has broken backwards compatibility.

Unfortunately my pro version no longer works so is useless to me :-(

after installing the app, before launching it, you give permissions to the app?
