Hi!

I love Torque, and I want to buy and install a dedicated tablet for it. However, I have not been able to find any information to help me choose a device.

For example, I have no idea whether RAM and processor speed make any difference to how well Torque runs with multiple gauges.

I also assume that some devices are better than others when it comes to thinigs like screen/power management (ie automatically waking and sleeping with accessory power), screen dimming based on ambient light, compatibility with USB OBD readers, availability of mounts and cases etc.

I see there is a ‘dashboard installation’ wiki page at https://torque-bhp.com/wiki/?title=Dashboard_installation&action=edit&redlink=1, but currently no content.

Can anyone shed any light? I’d be happy to write something for the wiki if I only knew what to write!
