Post obdlink SX only 60pids/sec
on: April 18, 2021 (GMT)

Hello

I have a obdlink SX. I have updated to lastest 5.6.5 firmware. but the problem remain, only 60 pids/sec on average. I should do 120 pids/sec (even 165 pids/sec as mentioned on the wiki). Im using android samsung a71 (similar to note 8-9) with torque pro , usb wired connection with usb c adapter.

Any idea to make it faster, please let me know

Baud rate is AUTO, I tried different baud rate but couldn’t improve pids/sec
fast communication is enable on torque
car is mazda Miata 2008

le baud rate est celui du vehicule, alors tu ne peu changer la vitesse pour de meilleur resultat

60 PIDs per second is plenty fast. That means your ECU can receive & send PID request 60 times per second. You’re also using CANBus protocol which is good. Unfortunately, no matter what settings you do in Torque it is not going to go any faster as Torque doesn’t support CANBus Multi-PID request.

My advise would be to download “Car Scanner ELM OBD2” app from Play Store. If it is compatible with your OBDlink SX and your ECU can do Multi-PIDs, you can reach 200pids (maybe more).
