Hello guys, I have two adaptors – one fully original ELM327SM v2.2 chip based and another one with chinese clone based on PIC18F25K80 chip. The problem is that with the original one I can’t connect to the ECU of my Citroen. Chinese clone connects easily. The original adapter works fine with FAP/FAP Lite software and connects to my ECU. The ECU is MM6LPB (Magnetti Marelli). The software I use is Torque Pro paid version. Now the question – what could be the reason for not connecting with the original adaptor? Do I need some init string for this ECU to get connected?
Thank you in advance for your answers!

I’ve found the answer by myself. The problem was that the adapter, after working with some software and some cars, remains in mode and state different from default. ATZ command in INIT string solved the problem.
