Post how do you query PIDs once added from predefined set
on: December 29, 2020 (GMT)

I have navigated the settings to add a predefined set of PIDs (prius gen 3). So now when I go to “Manage extra PIDs/Sensors” in settings, I have a very long list but I’m not sure how to obtain the actual state or readings of these parameters and whether they can return fault codes related to these various sensors or parameters that are separate from the readings.

thanks anyone who can help me to understand how to use these PIDs to actually get some information from my car, thanks,

brian

Once you have added the predefined pid
set, go back to the realtime dashboard and
add displays by long pressing an empty spot
or by using the menu option.

Assumes pids are correct for your vehicle.

Using TorqueScan is another way to view
pids known by Torque.
