Hello,

can someone help me with diagnosis EGR valve from PIDs like – ‘Commanded EGR’ and ‘EGR Error’ ?

this is graph how it looks like now:

I can see that ‘EGR Error’ value appears many time at 99% peak. Is that mean something is wrong with EGR ? Can I rely on that?

“If the scan tool displays EGR Error at 99.2% and the EGR is commanded OFF, this indicates that the PCM is receiving information that the EGR valve position is greater than 0%. This may be due to an EGR valve that is stuck partially open or a malfunctioning EGR position sensor.”
