Unfortunately with no luck, I changed under PID setting unit type to” Deg.C”, but nothing changed, it shows still about 120-130, coolant and oil was about 65-70 – in celsius

Your units need to match the
equation used…

A-40 °C
A*(9/5)-40 °F
A*1.8-40 °F

Then Torque will automatically
convert recognized units to your
preferred from settings.

Thank You! The sign “-” is dash or minus or it does not count? And do i have to type “°C” also, or only “A-40” ?

1. What is the difference between dash and minus signs in Android? in all formulas/math as char for subtraction the minus char is used.
2. unit name goes to part “unit name” (deg.C), formula without units – in “formula” field (A-40).

Hi!

He’s given you 3 different equations and then the units on the same line separated by a space :)

It can be confusing first time around, don’t worry! – basically where he says ‘A-40’ that’s the equation, and then the units are after that (which do not go in the equation box, but the units box in the PID editor)
