I’d like to show transmission temperature on my Torque Pro, but Method 1 and 3 on the sensor list only mimic coolant temperature (method 2 shows nothing)
Can anyone help please with a PID for my vehicle to show this?

OK, looks like its not possible which is a pity. Maybe there’s no sensor.

try this for Freelander 2

"FL2 TD4 Temperature Oil AT","Temp Oil AT","22DF0A","SIGNED(A)*128+B","-40","120","grad C","7E1"

Thanks CintakC. Not sure where to input 7E1
Other details entered as follows
PID: 22df0a
Long name: Transmission temperature
Short name: Oil temp
Min: -40
Max: 120
Scale: x1
Unit: grad C
Equation: SIGNED(A)*128+B

It does not accept when I put this on test.

OK, so now I re-entered the details for Freelander TD4 and I get -129
Still not sure where the 7A is entered.

Super!! success! I get 73 and rises slowly as the engine is warming. I’ll take it out later for a longer run. Just got to get my head around Fahrenheit. I’m used to the more sensible Deg C. Any way this could be changed?

Try A-40 for °C.

I used C/5=(F-32)/9, remembered from my schooldays several decades ago!!

Hello, transmission temp works perfect on F PACE, is there any possibility to make it show Celsius degrees? Thank You!

Hi

You can change the units in the app settings->Units to the ones you want to see.

The app will then auto-convert to the units you have chosen (Using ‘Deg.C’ or ‘Deg.F’ as the unit name, or the unicode equivalent for degreeC/F)

Thank You for reply. I changed units in app settings, all other displays are in °C, only the transmission temp show Fahrenheit. Do I have to overvrite something in PID for transmission temperature? If so, would You be so kind to tell me what exactly? Thank You again, Martin

Hi!

You need the correct units in the PID you have setup – so ensure they are ‘Deg.C’ or ‘Deg.F’ (Per my post above) based on your equation in the PID setup
