End Quote.

My interpretation:

Store in vehicle profile is only available
when that profile is in use.

Store globally would be available regardless of
the vehicle profile.

I use this capability with totalizer type data. When I
exit Torque the last value of the pid is saved.

After restarting Torque the “saved” value will be used
to resume where it left off.

Note that there is a catch up feature in tot() that looks at the
previous timestamp versus the current. For this reason
I totalize a zero value for a few cycles to allow the
timestamp to become current.

Timer example:

tot(1:lookup(Val{SIM Counter}::0~14=0:15~65535=1))
