I’m trying to figure out what TID CID means.
It says Rich to lean sensor threshold voltage constant
Max: 128
Current: 143

I did some research for Toyota:
Both TID01 and CID01 relate to the catalyst monitor.
TID is Catalyst and CID as Catalyst Deterioration Level for Bank 1.
Does CID02 mean Bank 2 or a bad downstream O2 sensor?

I also had error codes P0420 and P0430 indicating bad catalytic converters but I don’t want to replace them until I know for sure that it’s not a bad sensor.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Technically “TID” stands for Test ID, and “CID” stands for Completion ID. They are numerically coded with Mfg minimum / maximum limits for Mode 06 Test equipment to determine “Pass” or “Fail”. I do not know if there is any standardization for the test numbers or completion codes and UNITS across manufacturers. That data would basically have to come from the Manufacturer. For Example, I don’t know what the units are for the Max 128, but for sure your’s is 143 at the moment you ran the Mode 06 test.

It would be my guess that CID02 might be for Bank 2, but (that’s just a guess). Since you are having P0420 -AND- P0430 would also suggest that.

HOWEVER – a vacuum leak (elevated Fuel Trims), or excessive misfires can overwhelm CATS with too much un-burned fuel and cause both of those codes. If the condition persists, it will damage them permanently. If true, make sure that condition is corrected first. Those codes MIGHT go away.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate it.
A few weeks ago, I had a bad misfire condition. Since the plugs were original with 150K miles on them, I just replaced them with the same type as what the factory installed.This helped the misfire condition a lot but not 100%. Although I don’t get any misfire codes, Mode 06 isn’t reporting any misfires but I still feel a misfire once in a while under a load. I can’t seem to figure out which cylinder it might be. Not sure if it’s a coil or a coil boot or maybe just cleaning out the throttle body. At that many miles, it could be that the cats are bad but they are so expensive, I don’t want to waste money by throwing parts at the problem just to fix it.
