Post Customize a pid?
on: September 3, 2019 (GMT)

I purchased an Atoto A6 Pro head unit for my f250 6.0 and it came with torque. Im guessing it’s torque pro cause when i went to play store it showed it was installed.
I purchased torque pro a few years back and its on my phone as well.
I wanted to reduce numbers on the custom pid for HPOP from the 1000’s to look like the Revs display. A single number and then x1000 in the middle of the dial. I tried editing the pid from settings. Manage custom pids and changing the scale factor to x1000 but nothing happens.

I’ve added a custom pid i found online that shows the temp diffence in coolant and oil temps. This worked on both my phone and head unit.

I also dont know if there are any updates to the original app.

On my phone i can change the vehicle icon in vehicle edit setting but i can’t do this on the Atoto A6 Pro.
Any response is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

After changing the scale factor to x1000, did
you remove the current gauge then add it again?

I used a custom pid which displays a random
number in the thousands which worked in
the current version of Torque Pro.

It has been stated on this forum that Torque is
only officially distributed from Google Play so I
suspect your head unit version is not official
whereas your purchased version is. Does your
phone keep up with available updates?

Don’t forget to search this forum for your Ford
6.0. There are a number of threads for the 6.0
and 7.3’s with custom pids that maybe useful.

Thanks got it by deleting the gauge and adding it again.
Not sure how to manually update my app other than going to play store and looking at the app to see if it says update or open.
