are there any instructions on how to identify/decode a PID? I have the “pro” version and torquescan plugin but no idea how to actually work out what I’m looking at!

I’m trying to work out if the Subaru Forester (MY18) TPMS data is available to view/display in Torque Pro…

I may be missing something but …
I overwrite the “auto” with 753 in the torque scan plugin and then it runs and returns 75B037F2222 for a whole load of commands

(I’m probably missing something really obvious, this is all new to me!)

send such requests in the terminal and post a response from the ECU

Hopefully makes some sense … seems like getting tire pressures (if the data was there) shouldn’t be a bit deal, but the auto industry doesn’t want to make things too easy!

ECU responds with error code 22

Error code 7Fxx22
ConditionsNotCorrectOrRequestSequenceError.
This response code indicates that the requested action will not be taken because the
server (ECU) prerequisite conditions are not met. This request may occur when
sequence sensitive requests are issued in the wrong order.
The communication timing is not affected by this response code!

Example: The server (ECU) shall send this response code in case the client (tester) has sent a known and
supported request message at a time where the server (ECU) has expected another request message because of a
predefined sequence of services. A typical example of occurrence is the securityAccess service which requires a
sequence of messages as specified in the message description of this service.

to establish communication with the ECU TPMS, you most likely need to use the access security service
