Can you guys post up which obd2 adapter you are using and what type of phone or tablet you are running torque on.

I think this can be useful for peoples to get a rough idea of which device combo work or don’t work and on what model of vehicle.

I personally used ELM327(ebay) OBD2 bluetooth adapter running on my T-Mobile Optimus-T android phone for my 2011 chevy.

I noticed that it only read/monitor the ecm when the lights would be flashing on the adapter but the problem was that instead of continuously flashing and reading it would stop every 10-15 second then it start flashing and read for another 10 second and it would stop again. Unfortunately this is how my setup worked so I ended up sending my adapter back.

!. ELM 327 Bluetooth OBDII OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner PC Car Diagnostic by Koolertron–Check Engine Light
Sold by: loftek technological
I bought above from Amazon. It showed on my Android, but would not pair with 0000, 1234, 6789, etc.
Returning it for the KIWI.

2. Received KIWI today, works fine with My tablet.

4. My Android is a nooted Nook Color, with bluetooth enabled by the hack.
Works beautifully with the KIWI on my Nissan Maxima.

I am in this forum now to see how to use data logging. It seemed to only log distance and GPS, although the Nook has no GPS.

Need to find if paid version will graph the gauges to csv, such as MPG, etc., otherwise, I’ll have to aim a video camera at the live graphs on the screen.

Was able to turn off SES light caused by rarely burping o2 sensor.

I started with the cheap ones on line. Intermittent scanning with it. (As someone else had posted above.)

Have ordered the KIWI, should be here today. Hope it works better than the cheap one.

then it’s off to get more PIDs for my 04 Ford F350 6.0L Diesel for Torque.

PLX KIWI – Motorola Driod – Torque Pro

Worked on
2004 Trailblazer
2006 Sierra
2006 Escalade
2005 Camry

Used to use the blue & orange adapter from eBay but it crapped out. Don’t waste your money, buy the KIWI! I think it is only now.

OBD2 Diagnostic Interface from huang-he(EBay). Item number 150668648026. I have to say that’s a excellent one so far. “Faster Communication” is on. No errors or faults. Everything perfect. Much better than my friend’s ELM327.
