hi all, ive had a search but not sure how to word it to get the best results.

I have torque on a galaxy tab 7, everything works great as a dash until i power the car down and the app goes to sleep. When power is reinstated it wont connect to the obd reader/ecu. The only way to solve this is to completely close the app and re open it to get a clean connection.

Any pointers or tips?

this problem can be solved if power is supplied to the adapter not from the battery, but only when the ignition is turned on
then each time the ignition is turned on, the adapter will initialize and wake up from sleep
To do this, remove the power supply from the battery from the 16th pin of the OBD connector and turn on the ignition power to the 16th pin OBD

or re-install the adapter in the OBD connector every time before starting Torque
