You come to the Official Torque Pro forum site and ask where you can get a pirated version???? Then you’d want updates, right? WTF?

F-150Torqued, I have great respect for you and have had the benefit of several of your posts on this forum, so consider this an off-topic and belated way to say “Thank you!”.

But I think you’ve mis-characterized Jiorgo. I, for one, didn’t read his message that way. He said “buy“, not “get” or “download“.

There are people like myself who refuse to get Android software via Google Play. I could be wrong, but I understood the OP to be one of those, not someone looking to illicitly obtain the app.

I have only used Torque Lite. From what I’ve seen, I’d happily pay triple the asking price for Torque Pro directly to the author (Ian Hawkins), if only it were available without using Google Play.

Your point is well taken and graciously presented. I did read the post as ‘get’ instead of ‘buy’. Thanks.

There are copies of Torque out there that come packaged with dongles, but do not come with benefit of updates and so forth. Many that install them complain about failures that have been fixed in subsequent releases that they didn’t have benefit of. For all that Torque Pro does (at the ridiculously cheap price Lan charges) – which I think should be much more. Guess I’m just one user that would do whatever it took or pay whatever it cost to have it.
