Post Ford PIDs not working on 6.7L Diesel
on: December 28, 2018 (GMT)

Hello everyone. I am pretty new to Torque so maybe this is an issue with my setup but I have the FORD custom PID set running as well as a few PIDs I hand built from the list of tested PIDs.

Setup:
2011 Ford F350 6.7L Diesel
Kindle Fire HD v6 running Torque App
ELM-327 basic BT adapter

Some PIDS aren’t working correctly and others just aren’t available to be used.

Examples:

My Trans Temp and ECT guages read the same value all the time, but if I look on the built-in display in the truck, they will be different. Usually by a 20/30* colder trans temp as its cold in Nebraska right now. So I think they might be pulling from the same code? maybe?

I built 4 Exhaust Gas PIDs but 11/12 read 122 * and 13/14 read 842* max (once it gets to temp) I know its hotter then that in my exhaust.

I also see dozens of the PIDs in the list when trying to add displays that are black (i.e.: not being read by the OBDII adapter) instead of green (available).

Has any else had issues like this?

Here are PIDs as I have them built on my setup.

You get the idea.

Any one who has these PIDs and they work, please let me know your config. I don’t think mine are quite right. Im also trying to determine if its an adapter issue…

Cheers!

Have you chosen °C in your units settings?
Torque might be converting °F to °C.

Are you reading TFT from 221E1C?
