Can anyone help me figure out what is going on with the oil pressure reading zero on the torque pro app?
2012 Chevy Equinox LT With a 2.4 liter engine

Just did an oil change and no check engine lights on but I thought it would be cool to connect the app to the care cause it would be the newest car that I connected it to. The app says the pressure is zero but it had an oil temp of 140 and slowly climbing. Is this a problem with the sending unit, a computer glitch or the Torque pro?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

unless you have a pressure gage
oil pressure is not commonly measured

most of them is just a on off switch … so you can’t read a pressure value

Thanks,

I did have a F150 that was like that. Had a pressure guage that just indicate there was pressure there. The Equinox doesn’t have anything on the dash.
